Benjamin Holl’s Experience
Ben is the owner and founder of Holl Law & Mediation. He has over 20 years of legal experience, and a long record of winning results. Ben has jury trial, bench trial and arbitration experience, and has been a pivotal member of numerous trial teams achieving favorable results for a Fortune 50 Company in national litigations venued in state and federal courts with damage claims approaching as high as $1 Billion.
Ben has frequently appeared in federal and state courts, and before arbitration panels and administrative boards. He has built, managed and led teams of experts, outside counsel, and junior attorneys.
Ben is a trained Mediator, and serves as a Judge Pro Tem and Settlement Conference Officer in San Francisco Superior Court. He has served as a Neutral/Mediator in over 50 matters, ranging from landlord-tenant disputes to high value personal injury claims and family law settlements.
Ben embarked on his practice directly from a position as Senior Counsel at SSL Law Firm, a San Francisco based real estate and environmental boutique. Prior to joining SSL, Ben practiced for nine years in the San Francisco office of the Am Law 100, Philadelphia-based firm, Drinker Biddle & Reath. From 2000 to 2003 Ben served as associate at Bergeson Eliopolous, a San Jose-based Wilson Sonsini spin-off. Ben began his legal career with the legendary Oakland-based civil rights firm of Moore & Moore.
Education
A native of San Francisco, Ben graduated from Berkeley High School, earned a B.A. with honors from UCLA, and a J.D. with honors from Tulane Law School.
Admissions
Ben is a member of the California and New York bars, and is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Central and Eastern Districts of California.
Ben is a member of the Real Property, Business Law and Litigation Sections of the State Bar of California.
Activities
Ben is active in volunteer legal programs and has been recognized for his pro bono work. He also has been involved in hiring, mentoring and diversity programs. He serves on the Tulane Law School Alumni Advisory Committee.
